  • 1 medium fresh pineapple (about 3 cups chunks)
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil or coconut oil
  • ½ teaspoon ground cinnamon (optional)
  • 1 tablespoon honey or maple syrup (optional)
  • 1 pinch salt

Instructions

  1. Start by cutting the pineapple into chunks. Slice off the top and bottom, stand it upright, and slice down the sides to remove the skin. Cut into quarters, remove the core, and chop into bite-sized chunks.
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine the pineapple chunks with your chosen oil, ground cinnamon, and a pinch of salt. Add honey or maple syrup for sweetness and toss gently.
  3. Preheat your air fryer to 375°F (190°C). Place the pineapple chunks in a single layer in the air fryer basket and air fry for about 8-10 minutes, shaking halfway through.
  4. Once done, remove the air-fried pineapple chunks and let them cool for a minute or two. Serve warm and enjoy.

Notes

Adjust cinnamon and sweetness to taste; leftovers can be stored in the fridge for 3-4 days.
