Delicious cookie bars combining rich chocolate, chewy coconut, and crunchy almonds, perfect for any occasion.

  • 1 cup unsalted butter, softened
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 cup brown sugar, packed
  • 2 large eggs
  • 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
  • 3 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup shredded coconut
  • 1 cup chocolate chips
  • 1 cup chopped almonds

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9×13 inch baking dish.
  2. Cream together the softened butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar until smooth and fluffy.
  3. Beat in the eggs one at a time and stir in the vanilla extract.
  4. Combine the flour, baking soda, and salt in another bowl. Slowly add this mixture to the wet ingredients, mixing just until combined.
  5. Fold in the shredded coconut, chocolate chips, and chopped almonds.
  6. Spread the cookie dough mixture in the prepared baking dish.
  7. Bake for 25-30 minutes or until the edges are golden brown.
  8. Cool in the dish before cutting into squares.
