Ingredients

  • 4 cups powdered sugar
  • 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
  • 24 tablespoons milk

Instructions

  1. In a large bowl, beat the softened butter until it becomes creamy and fluffy.
  2. Slowly add in the powdered sugar, mixing until combined.
  3. Stir in vanilla extract and 2 tablespoons of milk, then beat until fluffy.
  4. If too thick, incorporate more milk one tablespoon at a time until desired consistency.
  5. Use the frosting to adorn cakes, cupcakes, or cookies as desired.

Notes

Use room temperature butter for easier mixing. Sifting powdered sugar can help avoid lumps.
