A delightful fruit crumble combining tart strawberries and sweet apples, topped with a buttery crumble for a comforting dessert.

Ingredients

  • 2 cups of apples, peeled and sliced
  • 2 cups of strawberries, hulled and sliced
  • 1 cup of sugar
  • 1 cup of all-purpose flour
  • 1 cup of rolled oats
  • 1/2 cup of butter, softened
  • 1 teaspoon of cinnamon
  • 1/2 teaspoon of salt

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine the sliced apples and strawberries with half of the sugar and cinnamon. Toss gently until evenly coated.
  3. Spread the fruit mixture in a greased baking dish.
  4. In another bowl, mix the remaining sugar, flour, oats, salt, and softened butter until crumbly.
  5. Sprinkle the crumble mixture generously over the fruit.
  6. Bake in the preheated oven for about 30-35 minutes, or until golden brown and bubbly.
  7. Let it cool before serving.

Notes

Serve warm with cream, vanilla ice cream, or Greek yogurt. Leftovers can be stored in the fridge for up to 3 days.
