These Baked Broccoli Cheese Balls are a perfect blend of health and indulgence, transforming humble broccoli into crispy, cheesy bites that are utterly irresistible.

Ingredients

  • 2 cups broccoli florets, steamed and chopped
  • 1 cup shredded cheese (cheddar or mozzarella)
  • 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1/4 cup chopped onion
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 egg, beaten
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Combine the steamed broccoli, shredded cheese, breadcrumbs, Parmesan cheese, onion, garlic, and beaten egg in a large bowl.
  3. Season the mixture with salt and pepper, tasting to ensure it’s flavored well.
  4. Form the mixture into small balls, about the size of a golf ball.
  5. Arrange the balls on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  6. Bake for 20-25 minutes or until golden brown.
