Delicious baked chicken legs that are crispy on the outside and tender on the inside, perfect for any occasion.

Ingredients

  • 4 chicken legs (drumsticks)
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/2 teaspoon dried thyme (optional)
  • Cooking spray (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 425°F (220°C).
  2. Pat the chicken legs dry with paper towels and place them in a large bowl.
  3. Drizzle the chicken legs with olive oil and sprinkle with garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, salt, pepper, and thyme (if using). Toss to coat the chicken evenly.
  4. Place the chicken legs on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper or lightly greased with cooking spray.
  5. Roast in the preheated oven for 35-45 minutes, or until the chicken is golden brown and reaches an internal temperature of 165°F (74°C).
  6. Remove from the oven and let rest for 5 minutes before serving.
