A warm and comforting baked oatmeal filled with juicy berries and a hint of cinnamon, perfect for breakfast or dessert.

Ingredients

  • 2 cups rolled oats
  • 2 cups milk (or a milk alternative)
  • 1/4 cup maple syrup or honey
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup mixed berries (fresh or frozen)
  • 1/4 cup chopped nuts (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C). Grease a baking dish with a little oil or butter to prevent sticking.
  2. Combine the rolled oats, baking powder, cinnamon, and salt in a large bowl. Stir to mix.
  3. Whisk together the milk, maple syrup (or honey), and vanilla in another bowl.
  4. Pour the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients and mix well. Fold in the berries and nuts if using.
  5. Pour the mixture into the prepared baking dish and spread it evenly.
  6. Bake for about 30-35 minutes, or until the top is golden brown and the oatmeal is set.
  7. Allow to cool slightly before serving. Enjoy warm!

Notes

For extra flavor, enhance with yogurt, honey, or nuts. Store leftovers in an airtight container for up to 5 days.
