A delightful blend of rich flavors and flaky textures come together in this Baklava Cheesecake, combining traditional baklava with creamy cheesecake for a unique dessert experience.

Ingredients

  • 1 package phyllo dough
  • 1 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 2 cups cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 3 large eggs
  • 1 cup chopped pistachios
  • 1/2 cup honey

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Brush a 9-inch springform pan with melted butter and layer phyllo dough, brushing each layer with butter.
  3. In a bowl, beat the cream cheese, sugar, and vanilla until smooth. Add eggs one at a time.
  4. Spread the creamy cheesecake mixture over the phyllo layers in the pan.
  5. Top with more layers of phyllo, brushing each with butter.
  6. Bake for 45-50 minutes until golden brown and set.
  7. Cool and drizzle with honey, garnishing with chopped pistachios before serving.

Notes

Keep phyllo dough covered while working to avoid drying out. Use room temperature cream cheese for easier mixing.
