A delightful dessert that blends the richness of cheesecake with the classic flavor of banana cream pie, topped with whipped cream.

Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 cups graham cracker crumbs
  • 1/3 cup sugar
  • 1/2 cup butter, melted
  • 4 packages (8 oz each) cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 4 large eggs
  • 2 ripe bananas, sliced
  • 2 cups whipped cream

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 325°F (163°C).
  2. In a bowl, combine graham cracker crumbs, sugar, and melted butter. Press this mixture into the bottom of a springform pan and bake for 10 minutes.
  3. Beat the cream cheese until smooth, then add sugar and vanilla, mixing well.
  4. Add eggs one at a time, mixing after each addition until just combined.
  5. Fold in sliced bananas, then pour the filling over the crust in the springform pan.
  6. Bake for 50-60 minutes or until set.
  7. Allow to cool before refrigerating for at least 4 hours.
  8. Top with whipped cream before serving.

Notes

For best results, ensure cream cheese is at room temperature and do not skip on the cooling time.
