  • 1 Bar One chocolate bar
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1/2 cup cocoa powder
  • 1/2 cup unsweetened chocolate, melted
  • 1/2 cup butter, softened
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/2 cup caramel sauce
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a cake pan.
  2. Cream together the softened butter and sugar until light and fluffy.
  3. Add the eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition, then stir in the vanilla extract.
  4. In another bowl, combine the flour, cocoa powder, baking powder, and salt. Gradually add this dry mixture to the wet mixture, alternating with the melted chocolate.
  5. Chop the Bar One chocolate and fold it into the batter gently.
  6. Pour half of the batter into the prepared pan, drizzle caramel sauce over it, and then pour remaining batter on top.
  7. Bake for 30-35 minutes or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
  8. Let it cool before serving.

Notes

Serve with vanilla ice cream or whipped cream for an extra treat. Store leftovers in an airtight container at room temperature for up to 3 days.
