A delicious and quick BBQ Chicken Flatbread topped with shredded chicken, barbecue sauce, mozzarella cheese, and fresh red onions.

Ingredients

  • 2 each flatbreads
  • 1/2 cup barbecue sauce
  • 1 cup chicken breast, cooked and shredded
  • 1 cup mozzarella cheese, shredded
  • 1/2 cup red onion, thinly sliced
  • 1/4 cup cilantro, chopped
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 220°C (425°F).
  2. Brush each flatbread lightly with olive oil.
  3. Spread the barbecue sauce evenly over the flatbreads.
  4. Distribute the shredded chicken breast evenly over the barbecue sauce.
  5. Sprinkle mozzarella cheese and thinly sliced red onion on top.
  6. Season with salt and black pepper.
  7. Bake in the oven until the cheese is melted and edges are golden brown, about 10 minutes.
  8. Remove from the oven and garnish with chopped cilantro.

Notes

Leftovers can be kept in an airtight container in the fridge for about 2-3 days. Reheat in the oven to restore crispiness.
