Instructions

  1. Preheat the Oven & Prepare the Pan: Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9×13 inch baking pan.
  2. Melt the Butter: In a large bowl, melt the butter.
  3. Combine Butter and Sugar: Stir in the granulated sugar until well combined.
  4. Add the Eggs: Add the eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition.
  5. Whisk Dry Ingredients: In a separate bowl, whisk together the flour, salt, and baking powder.
  6. Mix Dry with Wet Ingredients: Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients and mix just until combined.
  7. Fold in the Goodness: Fold in the lemon zest and lemon juice.
  8. Pour and Spread: Pour the batter into the prepared pan and spread evenly.
  9. Bake to Perfection: Bake for 25-30 minutes or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
