A nostalgic and comforting dish combining ziti pasta, savory pepperoni, Italian sausage, and gooey mozzarella cheese, perfect for family dinners.

  • 1 pound ziti pasta
  • 2 cups pizza sauce
  • 2 cups mozzarella cheese, shredded
  • 1 cup pepperoni, sliced
  • 1 pound Italian sausage, cooked
  • 1 bell pepper, chopped
  • 1 onion, chopped
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Cook the ziti pasta according to the package instructions until al dente; drain.
  3. In a skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add chopped onion, bell peppers, and minced garlic, and sauté until softened.
  4. Add cooked Italian sausage and pepperoni to the skillet, cooking until heated through.
  5. Stir in pizza sauce and cooked ziti until evenly coated.
  6. Pour the mixture into a baking dish and top with mozzarella cheese.
  7. Bake for 20-25 minutes or until the cheese is bubbly and golden.
  8. Let cool slightly before serving.

Notes

For extra flavor, add crushed red pepper flakes to the sautéed vegetables. You can swap the ziti with any pasta shape available.
