  • 1 (14 oz) can sweetened condensed milk
  • 1 (8 oz) jar caramel sauce
  • 1 (8 oz) container whipped topping
  • 1 (8 oz) package chocolate bar (for shavings)
  • 1 cup chopped nuts (optional)

Instructions

  1. Prepare the cake batter by following package instructions. Pour into a 9×13 inch pan and bake until a toothpick inserted comes out clean. Allow to cool slightly.
  2. Poke holes in the warm cake using a fork all over the top.
  3. Pour sweetened condensed milk and caramel sauce over the cake, ensuring it seeps into the holes.
  4. Cool the cake completely to allow flavors to meld, then spread whipped topping over the top.
  5. Garnish with chocolate shavings and sprinkle with chopped nuts if desired.
  6. Chill in the refrigerator for at least 2 hours before serving.
