Recreate the classic Big Mac flavor with this easy copycat recipe that’s perfect for any burger lover.

Ingredients

  • 1 pound ground beef
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 4 sesame seed burger buns
  • 2 slices American cheese
  • Lettuce, shredded
  • Onion, finely chopped
  • Pickles, slices
  • Big Mac sauce (mayonnaise, ketchup, sweet relish, white vinegar, garlic powder, onion powder)

Instructions

  1. Preheat the grill or skillet over medium heat.
  2. Shape the ground beef into 4 equal patties, about 1/4 pound each, and season with salt and pepper.
  3. Cook the patties on the hot grill or skillet for about 3-4 minutes on each side.
  4. Mix the Big Mac sauce ingredients in a small bowl; taste and adjust as needed.
  5. Toast the burger buns on the grill or in a toaster.
  6. Spread Big Mac sauce on the bottom bun, followed by a beef patty, a slice of cheese, shredded lettuce, onion, and pickles.
  7. Place the middle bun on top, add more sauce, another patty, cheese, lettuce, onion, and pickles, then finish with the top bun.
  8. Serve immediately and enjoy!
