Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 cup cream cheese, softened
  • 1/2 cup butter, softened
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup blueberries
  • 1/2 cup white chocolate chips (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) to get it nice and hot while we prepare the cookie dough.
  2. Beat the cream cheese and butter together until smooth.
  3. Add the sugars—both white and brown—along with the vanilla extract, mixing until everything is combined and creamy.
  4. Combine the flour, baking soda, and salt in another bowl.
  5. Mix the dry ingredients into the wet mixture, and be careful not to overmix.
  6. Fold in the blueberries and white chocolate chips, if using.
  7. Drop tablespoon-sized balls of dough onto a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  8. Bake for 10-12 minutes or until the edges are lightly golden.
  9. Let cool on the baking sheet before transferring to a wire rack to cool completely.

Notes

For best results, use room temperature ingredients and avoid overbaking to keep the cookies soft.
