A simple and nutritious breakfast that combines rolled oats, creamy yogurt, fresh blueberries, and a hint of sweetness, all prepared in just 10 minutes and left to chill overnight.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 cup rolled oats
  • 1 cup yogurt (Greek or regular)
  • 1 cup milk (dairy or non-dairy)
  • 1 cup fresh blueberries
  • 12 tablespoons honey or maple syrup (optional)
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • Pinch of salt

Instructions

  1. Combine the rolled oats, yogurt, milk, honey or maple syrup (if using), vanilla extract, and a pinch of salt in a jar or bowl.
  2. Stir well to combine all the ingredients, ensuring the oats are thoroughly coated in the creamy mixture.
  3. Fold in the fresh blueberries carefully, treating them gently.
  4. Cover the jar or bowl and refrigerate overnight (or for at least 4 hours).
  5. Give your oats a gentle stir in the morning and add any additional toppings you desire.

Notes

These oats can be stored in the fridge for up to 3 days. Use old-fashioned rolled oats for best results and feel free to experiment with toppings and sweeteners.
