A warm, cheesy Buffalo Chicken Dip that’s perfect for gatherings and parties, featuring savory chicken, hot sauce, and melted cheddar.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 16 ounces cream cheese, cubed (full fat)
  • ½ cup chicken broth
  • 4 cups cooked shredded chicken breast
  • ¾ cup ranch dressing
  • ½ cup hot sauce (Frank’s RedHot Sauce preferred)
  • 1 ½ cups shredded cheddar cheese (preferably freshly shredded from the block)

Instructions

  1. Prepare the Slow Cooker: Spray the slow cooker lightly with cooking spray to prevent sticking.
  2. Add cubed cream cheese and chicken broth to the slow cooker.
  3. Layer the shredded cooked chicken on top of the cream cheese and broth.
  4. Pour ranch dressing and hot sauce over the chicken layer.
  5. Sprinkle shredded cheddar cheese evenly on top.
  6. Cook on low for 3 to 4 hours or on high for 1 ½ hours.
  7. Stir the mixture after the first hour to help it melt evenly and cover.
  8. Continue cooking until heated through and creamy, stirring occasionally if needed.
  9. Switch the slow cooker to warm once cooked and serve with tortilla chips or vegetable sticks.

Notes

For a lighter version, swap full-fat cream cheese for reduced-fat, or use Greek yogurt instead. You can also assemble it a day early and refrigerate until ready to cook.
