A luxurious yet approachable rigatoni dish featuring creamy burrata and sweet black garlic, perfect for family gatherings.

Ingredients

  • 12 oz rigatoni pasta
  • 1 cup burrata cheese
  • 45 cloves black garlic, mashed
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1/4 teaspoon red pepper flakes
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Fresh basil for garnish
  • Grated Parmesan cheese for serving

Instructions

  1. Cook the rigatoni pasta according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
  2. In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add the mashed black garlic and red pepper flakes, cooking for about 1-2 minutes until fragrant.
  3. Add the cooked rigatoni to the skillet, tossing to coat in the garlic oil. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
  4. Remove from heat and add torn pieces of burrata cheese, gently mixing to combine.
  5. Serve warm, garnished with fresh basil and grated Parmesan cheese.

Notes

For best results, use fresh burrata and make sure to salt your pasta water. Adjust seasoning to your taste.
