A fluffy, creamy buttercream frosting perfect for decorating cakes and cupcakes.

Ingredients

  • 4 cups powdered sugar
  • 1/4 cup heavy cream or milk
  • 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
  • Pinch of salt

Instructions

  1. In a large bowl, beat the softened butter with an electric mixer until creamy and smooth.
  2. Gradually add in the powdered sugar, mixing on low speed until fully incorporated.
  3. Add the heavy cream, vanilla extract, and a pinch of salt.
  4. Mix on medium speed until the frosting is light and fluffy, about 3-5 minutes.
  5. Taste your frosting and adjust the consistency by adding more milk or powdered sugar as needed.
  6. Use immediately to decorate cakes and cupcakes or store in an airtight container in the fridge.
