Ingredients

Scale
  • 8 oz fettuccine pasta
  • 1 lb shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 2 tbsp Cajun seasoning
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 red bell pepper, sliced
  • 1 green bell pepper, sliced
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Chopped parsley for garnish

Instructions

  1. Cook the Fettuccine: Begin by bringing a large pot of salted water to a boil. Cook the fettuccine pasta according to package instructions; drain and set aside.
  2. Season the Shrimp: In a bowl, toss the shrimp with the Cajun seasoning.
  3. Sauté the Shrimp: In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium heat. Add the seasoned shrimp and cook until they turn pink, about 3-4 minutes. Remove from the skillet and set aside.
  4. Sauté the Vegetables: In the same skillet, add the bell peppers and minced garlic. Sauté until the peppers are softened.
  5. Create the Sauce: Pour in the heavy cream and bring it to a gentle simmer. Stir in the Parmesan cheese, and season with salt and pepper.
  6. Combine Everything: Return the cooked pasta and shrimp to the skillet, tossing gently to coat in the sauce.
  7. Serve and Garnish: Serve hot, garnished with chopped parsley.
