A delightful blend of crunchy, sweet carrots and nutty sesame flavors, perfect for any occasion.

Ingredients

  • 2 large carrots, grated
  • 2 tablespoons sesame seeds, toasted
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon rice vinegar
  • 1 tablespoon sesame oil
  • 1 teaspoon honey (optional)
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Chopped green onions for garnish

Instructions

  1. Grate the carrots using a box grater or food processor.
  2. Toast the sesame seeds in a dry skillet over medium heat until golden and fragrant.
  3. In a small bowl, whisk together soy sauce, rice vinegar, sesame oil, and honey (if using).
  4. Toss the grated carrots with the toasted sesame seeds in a large bowl.
  5. Pour the dressing over the carrot and sesame mixture; mix well to coat.
  6. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
  7. Garnish with chopped green onions before serving.
