A healthier, gluten-free alternative to traditional pizza that uses riced cauliflower as the base, perfect for pizza lovers.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 head cauliflower, riced
  • 1 cup mozzarella cheese, shredded
  • 1/2 cup Parmesan cheese, grated
  • 1 egg
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Toppings of choice (e.g., marinara sauce, vegetables, meats)

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 425°F (220°C) to prepare for that perfectly crispy crust.
  2. Rice the cauliflower and steam it until tender. Once cooked, allow it to cool before squeezing out any excess moisture.
  3. Combine in a bowl the riced cauliflower, mozzarella, Parmesan, egg, garlic powder, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper. Mix until well integrated.
  4. Shape the mixture onto a parchment-lined baking sheet, forming a pizza shape.
  5. Bake for about 15-20 minutes until golden brown and the edges are slightly crispy.
  6. Add your favorite toppings, and return it to the oven for another 10 minutes or until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
  7. Slice into pieces and serve hot.

Notes

Ensure the cauliflower is thoroughly dried after steaming for best crust texture. For a vegan option, replace the egg with a flax egg. Experiment with various toppings for different flavor profiles.
