A delightful dish featuring tender chicken in a creamy Pecorino Romano sauce infused with black pepper.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 1 cup grated Pecorino Romano cheese
  • 1 teaspoon freshly cracked black pepper
  • 1/2 cup heavy cream
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • Salt to taste
  • Fresh parsley for garnish

Instructions

  1. In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium heat. Season the chicken breasts with salt, and cook for 5-7 minutes on each side or until the chicken is cooked through and beautifully golden brown. Remove the chicken from the pan and set aside.
  2. In the same pan, lower the heat and add the heavy cream along with the freshly cracked black pepper. Stir until the ingredients are combined.
  3. Gradually add the grated Pecorino Romano cheese while stirring continuously to transform the cream into a luscious sauce.
  4. Slice the cooked chicken breasts into thick pieces and return them to the pan. Gently coat the chicken with the creamy cheese sauce, ensuring each piece is enveloped in flavor.
  5. Serve immediately, garnished with fresh parsley.

Notes

For variations, consider adding sautéed mushrooms or spinach. If desired, adjust thickness with extra cream or chicken broth.
