A comforting casserole that combines ground beef, crispy tater tots, and gooey melted cheese, perfect for family gatherings.

  • 1 bag frozen tater tots
  • 2 cups shredded cheese (cheddar or your choice)
  • 1 can cream of mushroom soup
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Optional: chopped onions or bell peppers

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Brown the ground beef over medium heat, seasoning it with salt and pepper.
  3. Mix the cream of mushroom soup and milk in a bowl until smooth.
  4. Layer the browned ground beef in a greased casserole dish.
  5. Pour the soup mixture over the beef, ensuring it’s well coated.
  6. Top with a layer of frozen tater tots, spreading them evenly.
  7. Sprinkle shredded cheese over the tater tots.
  8. Bake for 30-35 minutes or until tater tots are golden brown.
  9. Cool for a few minutes before serving.
