A comforting one-pot dish featuring cheesy pasta with delicious taco flavors, perfect for weeknight dinners.

Ingredients

  • 8 oz pasta
  • 1 lb ground beef or turkey
  • 1 packet taco seasoning
  • 1 cup salsa
  • 1 cup cream cheese
  • 1 cup shredded cheese (cheddar or Mexican blend)
  • 1/2 cup sour cream
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Chopped green onions (for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Cook the pasta according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
  2. Brown the ground beef or turkey in a large skillet over medium heat, and drain excess fat.
  3. Stir in the taco seasoning, salsa, and cream cheese, cooking until melted.
  4. Add the cooked pasta to the skillet and toss until coated.
  5. Stir in the shredded cheese and sour cream until melted and creamy.
  6. Season the dish with salt and pepper to taste and stir well.
  7. Serve warm topped with chopped green onions.

Notes

For a spicier kick, use spicy taco seasoning or add diced jalapeños. Creamy Greek yogurt can substitute cream cheese.
