Delightful brownies swirled with creamy peanut butter for a decadent treat reminiscent of childhood.

  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/3 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 cup creamy peanut butter
  • 1/4 cup chocolate chips (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a baking dish.
  2. Melt the butter in a saucepan over low heat.
  3. Combine sugar, eggs, and vanilla in the melted butter until smooth.
  4. Mix cocoa powder, flour, and salt in a separate bowl and stir into the butter mixture.
  5. Pour half of the brownie batter into the prepared baking dish.
  6. Prepare the peanut butter by mixing it with a little sugar.
  7. Dollop the peanut butter over the brownie batter.
  8. Add the remaining brownie batter over the peanut butter and swirl gently.
  9. Sprinkle chocolate chips on top if desired.
  10. Bake for 20-25 minutes until a toothpick comes out with moist crumbs.

Notes

For best texture, avoid overmixing. Store brownies in an airtight container for up to 3 days at room temperature.
