A delicious and hearty sandwich layered with creamy avocado, tender chicken, and gooey melted cheese, perfect for lunch or dinner.

Ingredients

  • 4 slices of bread
  • 2 cooked chicken breasts, shredded
  • 1 avocado, sliced
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon onion powder
  • Salt and pepper, to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Mix the shredded chicken with garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper.
  3. Butter one side of each slice of bread.
  4. Place two slices of bread butter side down on a baking sheet.
  5. Add the chicken mixture evenly on top of the bread slices.
  6. Layer the avocado slices on top of the chicken.
  7. Sprinkle the shredded cheddar cheese over the avocado.
  8. Top each sandwich with the remaining slices of bread, butter side up.
  9. Bake for 10-15 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and the bread is toasted.
  10. Cool slightly before serving and cut in half if desired.

Notes

Feel free to experiment with different breads or add jalapeños for a spicy kick.
