A warm and hearty Chicken Bacon Ranch Pasta dish that combines cheesy goodness, crispy bacon, and savory chicken for a comforting meal.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 cups cheddar cheese, shredded
  • 6 strips bacon
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • 2 small boneless skinless chicken breasts
  • 2 cups uncooked rotini pasta
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 2 tablespoons flour
  • 1 tablespoon garlic, minced
  • 2 cups half and half
  • 2 tablespoons dry ranch dressing seasoning mix

Instructions

  1. Cook the bacon in a large skillet over low heat until crisp. Set aside on a paper towel to drain, reserving the drippings in the skillet.
  2. Prepare the chicken by slicing the breasts into thinner pieces and seasoning with salt, pepper, onion powder, and Italian seasoning. Sear in the reserved drippings over medium-high heat until golden and cooked through.
  3. Boil the pasta in a pot of boiling salted water until al dente. Drain well.
  4. Make the sauce by melting butter in the same skillet over medium heat, adding minced garlic, and sautéing until fragrant. Stir in flour to create a roux, then gradually whisk in half and half until smooth. Add ranch seasoning and cheese, stirring until smooth.
  5. Combine the drained pasta with the sauce in the skillet, tossing in cubed chicken and garnishing with crispy bacon. Serve warm.
