Juicy, spiced Chicken Koftas served with a creamy garlic yogurt sauce, perfect for summer gatherings.

Ingredients

  • 500 grams ground chicken
  • 1 medium onion, finely chopped
  • 3 garlic cloves, minced
  • 1/4 cup fresh parsley, finely chopped
  • 1 teaspoon ground cumin
  • 1 teaspoon ground coriander
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground black pepper
  • 1 cup plain yogurt
  • 2 tablespoons freshly squeezed lemon juice
  • Pinch of salt
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil

Instructions

  1. Mix the ingredients: In a large bowl, combine ground chicken, chopped onion, minced garlic, parsley, cumin, coriander, salt, and black pepper. Mix well until all ingredients are fully incorporated.
  2. Shape the koftas: Form the mixture into small oval-shaped koftas, making sure they hold their shape.
  3. Preheat the grill: Preheat your grill over medium heat and brush it with olive oil to prevent sticking.
  4. Grill the koftas: Place the koftas on the grill and cook for about 10-12 minutes, turning occasionally until they are browned and cooked through.
  5. Prepare the garlic yogurt sauce: In a separate bowl, mix yogurt, lemon juice, and a pinch of salt to prepare the garlic yogurt sauce.
  6. Serve: Serve the grilled koftas with the garlic yogurt sauce on the side for dipping.
