Ingredients

Scale
  • 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • Salt and pepper
  • 1/4 cup all-purpose flour
  • 4 tablespoons olive oil
  • 4 tablespoons unsalted butter
  • 1/2 cup fresh lemon juice
  • 1 cup chicken broth

Instructions

  1. Season and dredge the chicken by generously seasoning both sides with salt and pepper, then dredging each breast in flour.
  2. Heat the olive oil and butter in a large skillet over medium heat.
  3. Cook the chicken until golden brown on both sides, about 4-5 minutes per side.
  4. Set the chicken aside on a plate to rest.
  5. Create the piccata sauce by adding lemon juice, chicken broth, and capers to the skillet.
