  • 1 cup orzo pasta
  • 2 cups chicken broth
  • 2 chicken sausages, sliced
  • 2 cups broccoli florets
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Parmesan cheese, for serving

Instructions

  1. In a large pot, bring chicken broth to a boil. Add the orzo and cook according to package instructions.
  2. In a separate skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add minced garlic and sliced chicken sausages, cooking until sausages are browned.
  3. Add the broccoli florets to the skillet and cook until tender, about 3-4 minutes.
  4. Drain the cooked orzo and add it to the skillet with sausage and broccoli. Stir to combine.
  5. Season with salt and pepper to taste. Serve with grated Parmesan cheese on top.

Notes

Store leftovers in an airtight container in the fridge for up to three days. Reheat in a skillet with a splash of chicken broth to maintain moisture.
