A quick and satisfying stir-fry loaded with fresh veggies and tender chicken, perfect for busy weeknights.

Ingredients

  • 2 chicken breasts, sliced
  • 4 cups cabbage, chopped
  • 2 carrots, julienned
  • 1 bell pepper, sliced
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon sesame oil
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Green onions for garnish

Instructions

  1. Heat sesame oil in a large pan over medium heat until it shimmers.
  2. Add the sliced chicken to the pan and cook until browned and cooked through, about 5-7 minutes.
  3. Stir in the minced garlic, julienned carrots, and bell pepper. Stir-fry for about 2 minutes.
  4. Add the chopped cabbage and soy sauce, stirring to combine.
  5. Continue to cook until the cabbage is tender, about 5 minutes.
  6. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
  7. Garnish with freshly chopped green onions and serve hot.

Notes

For added flavor, serve over jasmine rice or noodles. Fresh vegetables enhance taste and color.
