A decadent Chocolate Pudding Cake with a rich, velvety pudding beneath a soft cake-like top, perfect for any occasion.

Ingredients

  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 1 tablespoon baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1/3 cup vegetable oil
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 cup boiling water

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a baking dish.
  2. In a large bowl, combine sugar, flour, cocoa powder, baking powder, and salt.
  3. Add milk, vegetable oil, and vanilla extract. Stir until smooth.
  4. Pour the batter into the prepared baking dish.
  5. Slowly pour boiling water over the batter without stirring.
  6. Bake for 30-35 minutes until the top is set.
  7. Let cool slightly and serve warm, optionally with vanilla ice cream.

Notes
