A comforting and easy-to-make casserole featuring tender biscuit pieces, savory pizza sauce, and melted mozzarella cheese.

  • 1 package refrigerated biscuits
  • 1 cup pizza sauce
  • 2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1 cup cooked sausage or pepperoni
  • 1/2 cup chopped bell peppers
  • 1/2 cup sliced olives
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Cut the refrigerated biscuits into quarters and gently place them in a greased casserole dish.
  3. Mix the pizza sauce, cooked sausage or pepperoni, chopped bell peppers, and olives in a separate bowl.
  4. Pour the savory mixture over the biscuit pieces in the casserole dish.
  5. Sprinkle the shredded mozzarella cheese evenly on top.
  6. Add Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper to taste before baking for 25-30 minutes.
  7. Let the casserole cool slightly before serving.

Notes

You can prep this dish ahead of time and refrigerate until you’re ready to bake. Substitute whole wheat biscuits or turkey sausage for a healthier option.
