A luscious custard pie infused with warm cinnamon and sweet vanilla, perfect for holiday gatherings.

Ingredients

  • 1 pre-made flaky pie crust
  • 4 large eggs
  • 2 cups whole milk
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • Whipped cream for serving

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Fit the pie crust into a 9-inch pie dish and crimp the edges.
  3. Whisk together eggs, milk, heavy cream, sugar, vanilla extract, cinnamon, and salt in a large bowl until smooth.
  4. Carefully pour the custard mixture into the prepared pie crust.
  5. Place the pie in the preheated oven and bake for 45-50 minutes until set.
  6. Allow the pie to cool at room temperature.
  7. Refrigerate the pie for at least 2 hours before serving.
  8. Serve with a generous dollop of whipped cream on top.

Notes

Add freshly grated nutmeg over the top before serving for added aroma. You can make the pie a day in advance and refrigerate it.
