  • 1 tablespoon baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 1/4 cup melted butter
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/4 cup sugar (for topping)
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon (for topping)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a loaf pan.
  2. Whisk together the flour, baking powder, salt, and cinnamon.
  3. Combine the sugar, milk, melted butter, eggs, and vanilla extract.
  4. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, stirring until just combined.
  5. Pour the batter into the prepared loaf pan.
  6. Mix the remaining sugar and cinnamon, then sprinkle it over the top of the batter.
  7. Bake for 45-50 minutes or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
  8. Let cool for a few minutes before removing from the pan.
