A dreamy fusion of cinnamon rolls and cake that’s moist and creamy, perfect for family gatherings or a sweet treat.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 box yellow cake mix
  • 3 large eggs
  • 1 cup water
  • 1/2 cup vegetable oil
  • 1 tbsp ground cinnamon
  • 1 cup sweetened condensed milk
  • 1/2 cup powdered sugar
  • 1/2 cup cream cheese, softened
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1/4 cup milk
  • 1/2 cup cinnamon roll icing (optional)
  • Whipped cream (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9×13 inch baking pan.
  2. In a large bowl, mix the yellow cake mix, eggs, water, and vegetable oil until well combined.
  3. Pour the batter into the prepared pan and bake for 25-30 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
  4. Let the cake cool for about 10 minutes, then poke holes all over the surface with the handle of a wooden spoon.
  5. In a separate bowl, mix the sweetened condensed milk and ground cinnamon. Pour this mixture over the warm cake.
  6. In another bowl, beat the cream cheese, powdered sugar, vanilla extract, and milk until smooth. Spread this cream cheese mixture over the cake.
  7. Drizzle the cinnamon roll icing over the top if desired.
  8. Chill for at least an hour before serving, adding whipped cream on top if preferred.

Notes

Ensure your cake is completely cooled before poking holes to prevent it from collapsing. You can use whipped topping instead of cream cheese for a simpler alternative.
