Delightfully tender and chewy blondies topped with a crunchy cinnamon sugar coating, reminiscent of sweet afternoons at grandma’s house.

Ingredients

  • 1 cup butter, melted
  • 1 cup brown sugar
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 2 large eggs
  • 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 tablespoon cinnamon
  • 1/4 cup granulated sugar (for topping)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9×13 inch baking pan.
  2. Mix the melted butter, brown sugar, and granulated sugar until well mixed.
  3. Add the eggs and vanilla extract, mixing until smooth.
  4. Whisk together the flour, baking powder, salt, and cinnamon in a separate bowl.
  5. Combine your dry ingredients into the wet mixture until just combined.
  6. Pour the batter into the prepared baking pan and spread it evenly.
  7. Sprinkle the cinnamon-sugar mixture over the top of the batter.
  8. Bake for 20-25 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
  9. Allow to cool before cutting into squares.

Notes

Top with vanilla ice cream for a decadent dessert. Store leftovers in an airtight container at room temperature for up to 3 days.
