  • 2 cups sliced mushrooms
  • 1 cup snow peas
  • 1 cup bell peppers, sliced
  • 1 cup broccoli florets
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon oyster sauce
  • 1 tablespoon cornstarch
  • 1 cup chicken broth
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 2 tablespoons vegetable oil

Instructions

  1. Prepare the Sauce Mixture: In a bowl, combine the soy sauce, oyster sauce, chicken broth, and cornstarch. Set aside.
  2. Heat the Skillet: Heat vegetable oil in a large skillet or wok over medium-high heat.
  3. Brown the Chicken: Add the sliced chicken and cook until browned and cooked through, about 5-7 minutes. Remove chicken and set aside.
  4. Sauté the Aromatics: Add garlic and all the vegetables to the skillet, stir-frying for about 3-5 minutes until they are tender-crisp.
  5. Combine and Thicken: Return the chicken to the skillet and pour in the sauce mixture. Stir to combine and cook for an additional 2-3 minutes, until the sauce thickens.
  6. Final Touches and Serve: Season with salt and pepper to taste and serve hot over rice.

Notes

Leftovers can be stored in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 3 days. Reheat with a splash of water or broth to keep moist.
