A vibrant Italian Sub Salad that blends fresh vegetables, savory meats, and a zesty dressing for a perfect meal.

Ingredients

  • 1 head romaine lettuce, chopped
  • 1 cup cherry tomatoes, halved
  • 1/2 cup red onion, thinly sliced
  • 1 cup cucumbers, diced
  • 1/2 cup black olives, sliced
  • 1/2 cup salami, diced
  • 1/2 cup ham, diced
  • 1/2 cup provolone cheese, diced
  • 1/4 cup olive oil
  • 2 tablespoons red wine vinegar
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • To taste salt and pepper

Instructions

  1. Chop the lettuce and place it in a large mixing bowl.
  2. Slice the cherry tomatoes in half and add them to the bowl.
  3. Prepare the onions by thinly slicing them and adding them to the mixing bowl.
  4. Dice the cucumbers and toss them into the bowl.
  5. Add the sliced black olives to the salad.
  6. Cube the salami and ham, then add them to the bowl.
  7. Incorporate the diced provolone cheese.
  8. Whisk together olive oil, red wine vinegar, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper in a small bowl.
  9. Dress the salad mixture with the dressing and toss gently.
  10. Transfer the salad to a serving bowl or individual dishes.
