A comforting dish featuring a creamy sauce enveloping tender seafood, topped with a golden crunchy layer of breadcrumbs.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 pound assorted seafood (shrimp, scallops, crab)
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 1 onion, chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Fresh parsley for garnish

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. In a skillet, melt 2 tablespoons of butter over medium heat. Add the chopped onion and minced garlic, and sauté until softened and fragrant, about 3-4 minutes.
  3. Add the assorted seafood to the skillet and cook briefly, just until it becomes opaque.
  4. Stir in the lemon juice, heavy cream, and grated Parmesan cheese. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
  5. Transfer the seafood mixture to a baking dish, spreading it evenly. Sprinkle the breadcrumbs generously on top.
  6. Bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes until golden and bubbly.
  7. Once bubbling and golden, remove from the oven and garnish with fresh parsley.

Notes

For a lighter version, substitute half of the heavy cream with low-fat milk. Feel free to adapt seafood based on your preference.
