A homemade twist on the classic Arby’s Beef Cheddar sandwich featuring tender roast beef, gooey cheddar cheese, and toasted onion buns.

Ingredients

  • 1 lb roast beef, thinly sliced
  • 4 slices cheddar cheese
  • 4 onion buns
  • 1 cup beef broth
  • 1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
  • 1/2 tsp garlic powder
  • 1/2 tsp onion powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. In a saucepan, combine beef broth, Worcestershire sauce, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper. Heat until simmering.
  2. Add the sliced roast beef to the broth and stir gently to warm the beef.
  3. Toast the onion buns until golden and fragrant.
  4. Layer the bottom half of the toasted buns with the warm beef, capturing the broth.
  5. Top with a slice of cheddar cheese and broil until melted.
  6. Serve with the top half of the bun.

Notes

For a complete meal, pair with crispy fries or coleslaw. Leftovers can be stored separately in the fridge for up to 3 days.
