  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 tablespoon baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 1/3 cup vegetable oil
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/4 cup melted butter
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar (for coating)
  • 1 tablespoon ground cinnamon (for coating)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven and prepare the pan by greasing a loaf pan.
  2. Whisk the dry ingredients together in a large bowl.
  3. Mix the wet ingredients in another bowl until combined.
  4. Combine wet and dry ingredients and mix until just combined.
  5. Pour the batter into the prepared loaf pan and smooth the top.
  6. Bake for 40-45 minutes, or until a toothpick comes out clean.
  7. Mix the sugar and cinnamon for the coating in a small bowl.
  8. Brush the warm bread with melted butter and roll it in the cinnamon sugar mixture.
  9. Cool completely before slicing.

Notes

Store any leftover bread in an airtight container at room temperature for up to 3 days or in the freezer for up to 2 months.
