A delightful dish featuring salmon fillets stuffed with a rich mixture of crab and shrimp, enveloped in a creamy lemon sauce.

Ingredients

  • 4 salmon fillets
  • 1/2 cup crab meat
  • 1/2 cup shrimp, chopped
  • 1/4 cup cream cheese, softened
  • 1/4 cup breadcrumbs
  • 2 tablespoons fresh herbs (e.g., parsley, dill)
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 tablespoon butter
  • 1 tablespoon lemon zest

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Mix the crab meat, chopped shrimp, cream cheese, breadcrumbs, herbs, lemon juice, salt, and pepper until well combined.
  3. Cut a pocket into each salmon fillet.
  4. Stuff each salmon fillet generously with the seafood mixture.
  5. Place the stuffed salmon fillets in a greased baking dish.
  6. In a saucepan, melt the butter over medium heat. Add the heavy cream and lemon zest; stir until combined and slightly thickened.
  7. Pour the lemon cream sauce over the stuffed salmon.
  8. Bake in the preheated oven for about 20-25 minutes or until the salmon is cooked through and flakes easily with a fork.
  9. Serve hot, drizzled with additional lemon cream sauce if desired.

Notes

For variations, consider adding chopped bell peppers or spinach to the stuffing or using dried herbs if fresh herbs are unavailable.
