Delicious peppermint-flavored bites perfect for holiday celebrations.

Ingredients

  • 8 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 4 cups powdered sugar
  • 1 teaspoon peppermint extract
  • Food coloring (optional)
  • Granulated sugar for rolling

Instructions

  1. In a mixing bowl, beat softened cream cheese until smooth.
  2. Gradually add powdered sugar, mixing until combined.
  3. Stir in peppermint extract and mix well. Add food coloring if desired.
  4. Chill the mixture for about 30 minutes in the refrigerator.
  5. Scoop out small amounts of the mixture and roll them into balls or shape them into small discs.
  6. Roll the shaped mints in granulated sugar to coat.
  7. Place the mints on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  8. Let them set for at least an hour before serving.

Notes

Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to two weeks. Freeze for up to a month.
