A comforting baked spaghetti casserole with creamy cheese and hearty meat sauce, perfect for family dinners.

Ingredients

  • 8 ounces spaghetti
  • 1 pound ground beef or turkey
  • 1 onion, chopped
  • 2 garlic cloves, minced
  • 1 jar (24 ounces) marinara sauce
  • 8 ounces cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup grated mozzarella cheese
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Cook spaghetti according to package instructions; drain and set aside.
  3. Sauté ground beef or turkey with onion and garlic until browned.
  4. Stir in marinara sauce and Italian seasoning; simmer for 5 minutes.
  5. Mix the cooked pasta with cream cheese until well combined.
  6. Layer half of the pasta mixture in a greased casserole dish, then add half of the meat sauce; repeat with remaining pasta and meat sauce.
  7. Top with mozzarella and Parmesan cheese.
  8. Bake uncovered for 25-30 minutes or until cheese is bubbly and golden.
  9. Let cool for a few minutes before serving.

Notes

Can customize by using different types of pasta and adding vegetables. Make ahead by prepping the night before.
