A nostalgic and creamy rice pudding made with Arborio rice and sweetened condensed milk, perfect for warming your heart and home.

Ingredients

  • 1 cup Arborio rice
  • 4 cups milk
  • 1 can (14 oz) sweetened condensed milk
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 cup raisins (optional)
  • Freshly grated nutmeg for garnish (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Combine the Arborio rice, milk, sweetened condensed milk, sugar, vanilla extract, cinnamon, and salt in a large bowl.
  3. Add the raisins, if using.
  4. Pour the mixture into a greased baking dish.
  5. Bake for 60-70 minutes, stirring every 20 minutes.
  6. Cool slightly before serving, warm or chilled with nutmeg if desired.
