  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 4 large potatoes
  • 4 tablespoons butter
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 1 pound carrots
  • 2 tablespoons honey
  • 1 tablespoon butter
  • Salt to taste

Instructions

  1. Sauté the chicken in a skillet with olive oil, seasoning with salt and pepper, cooking until golden brown, about 6-7 minutes per side.
  2. Prepare the cream sauce by adding heavy cream and mixed herbs to the skillet, stirring, then returning the chicken to simmer for 5 minutes.
  3. Make the mashed potatoes by boiling peeled and chopped potatoes in salted water until tender, then mashing with butter and milk.
  4. Cook the sliced carrots in a saucepan with water until tender, then add honey and butter, stirring to coat.
  5. Final assembly: Serve chicken topped with herb cream sauce alongside mashed potatoes and honey glazed carrots.

Notes

For an even creamier mash, add more butter or cream to taste. Pair with a green salad or garlic bread.
