A comforting and romantic dish featuring tender fettuccine pasta in a rich, creamy sauce with sautéed shrimp and garlic.

Ingredients

  • 8 oz fettuccine pasta
  • 1 lb medium shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Parsley for garnish

Instructions

  1. Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Cook fettuccine according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
  2. In a skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Sauté minced garlic for about a minute until fragrant.
  3. Add the shrimp to the skillet and cook for 3-4 minutes until pink, stirring gently.
  4. Pour in the heavy cream and bring to a gentle simmer. Stir in Parmesan cheese until melted. Season with salt and pepper.
  5. Toss the cooked fettuccine in the skillet with the creamy sauce until well coated.
  6. Garnish with parsley and serve immediately.

Notes

To restore the sauce’s consistency when reheating, add a splash of cream or milk.
